Stephanie Arndt

My love for the arts comes from years of growing up seeing various films to not only better my hearing through technology as a deaf child, but to grow my artistic abilities in drawing storyboards and letting the camera be my eyes in cinematography.  

 

It has also led me to develop my own identity and cultivate my own skills through collaborations in and outside of Portland State University.  While storyboard has remained a central area of interest, I have developed other skills in cinematography and directing, with editing being a hobby in my spare time.  My most recent work include 2020's short documentary film Tangerine where life during a pandemic inside a local Home Depot retail store was explored and 2021's Coming Up For Air, in which I heavily storyboarded in for.  I am always excited by any collaboration coming my way.
